D’Angelo is a New-York based designer. Originally from Upstate, he has been working in the NYC area for nearly ten years primarily in theater, as occasionally events. Chris brings an avid passion for story-telling as a whole, and approaches each piece with an equally analytical and emotional eye. His hope is to create work rooted in honesty and enjoyment, affecting audiences on an emotional level while simultaneously providing entertainment.
Design work includes Hearts like Planets at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Avenue Q at Axelord Performing Arts Center, Complicity at the New Ohio Theater, The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the 30th Street Theatre, The Cemetery Club with Out of the Box Theater, and Vanities: The Musical at Millbrook Playhouse. He as assistant designed at MTC, Opera Theatre St. Louis, Barrington Stage Co., and at CNN. He received his M.F.A. in Lighting Design from NYU/Tisch. https://www.cdangelodesign.com/
